Rushworth Brass Band

The Rushworth Brass band was started in 1882 and is still going today but for a few name changes it is now called the Rushworth concert band is always willing to play at local functions, like the Anzac Day Services and other special occasions held in the district.

On display in the museum is a number of the bands old original instruments which they played.

Visitors are always welcome to visit the museum and entry is a gold coin donation.

The Museum is kept open by a small band of willing unpaid volunteers.

We also welcome family inquires for a small charge which is applied for this service to help cover costs.
