Old ironbark tree.
For safety reasons the Old Ironbark tree believed to be about 100 years old, it stood on the road beside the Museum Building has been removed as overnight on the 17th December, a large limb had fallen from it, and was very lucky it caused no damage or injury to persons.
Inspection of the tree, sort to be about 100 years old by the Shire of Campaspe arborist, he deemed the rest of the tree unsafe. Tree loppers were called the tree was cut down and removed, the tree had been infected with white ants.
Visitors will now notice a huge change in the High Street landscape in front of the Museum Building
